Jasmine Pradissitto is a British artist and physicist whose interdisciplinary practice moves between sculpture, painting, installation and technology. Material is never a neutral carrier in her work. Pradissitto has pioneered the artistic use of NOXORB™, a ceramic material that absorbs nitrogen dioxide from the surrounding air. The distinction matters: the material addresses a particular air pollutant and should not be described as capturing carbon. Its function allows sculpture to participate directly in the conditions around it.

Her wider approach considers biomimicry, responsible material development and collaboration between disciplines.
